Taylor Momsen: I’ve “Quit Acting” Forever!

Looking to focus solely on her musical aspirations, Taylor Momsen says she’s left her acting days behind her – for good.

After rocking out onstage during her weekend performance at the Tokyo Summer Sonic music festival, the “Pretty Reckless” rocker dropped a bombshell, telling Elle magazine she has “quit acting” forever.

“I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band. That’s pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully, I’ll be able to only do that for the rest of my life,” Taylor told the publication.

Back in April, Momsen hinted towards her onscreen departure, telling Us Weekly, “[Music] is all I ever wanted to do with my life. I wanted to make records and tour, so it’s very exciting that our first record is coming out and people can actually hear it.”

Miley Cyrus: Hot Dog Darling

Looking to satisfy her growling tummy, Miley Cyrus was spotted at one of Los Angeles’ trendy food trucks on Wednesday.

Joined by her mother Tish and a gal pal, the “Party in the USA” singer chowed down on a delicious hot dog while mingling with some of the other customers.

It may sound a bit odd, but she’s no stranger to winning awards and Miley is up for being inducted into to the Bowling Hall of Fame at Pinz Bowling.

A number of celebrities, including Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Nick and Joe Jonas, and Lady Gaga have all been chosen by the Bowling Propieters Association of America for this year’s winner.

“Glee” Stars’ Finale Shoot in Times Square

Hard at work filming the last few episodes of the season, the cast of “Glee” was spotted in Times Square earlier today (April 25).

Co-stars Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Jenna Ushkowitz, Heather Morris, and Ashley Fink could be seen rehearsing a dance routine and waving to nearby fans while Cory Monteith and Chord Overstreet were also on-set.

Exact plot details surrounding the Big Apple set remains under wraps, however Lea’s excitement was not, as she took to her Twitter to write, “Now it’s time to get movin because my dream of shooting Glee in NYC is finally coming true! Hope u r ready NYC…Miss Rachel Berry is here!!”

Meanwhile, you can catch the cast going Gaga as “Glee” airs its “Born This Way” episode tomorrow (April 26) on FOX at 8pm ET.

Nicole Scherzinger’s “Right There” Workday

Back on set of her upcoming music video, Nicole Scherzinger was spotted taking a breather in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday (April 21).

The former “Pussycat Doll” babe donned a rockin’ outfit as she took a seat in between takes and shot a peace sign at the on-hand photogs.

The video she’s been working on is for a song called “Right There” and will be the featured single on her solo album “Killer Love.”

Of the project, Nicole told MTV News, “Well, I did a lot of the album with my producer RedOne and then I did sprinkles, other colors of the album with producers like Jim Jonsin and The-Dream and Tricky Stewart and Ne-Yo and I’m fortunate enough to have my boy 50 and Snoop on the album.”

Simon Cowell Leaves “X Factor” UK

Moving forward to concentrate on the show’s U.S. debut, Simon Cowell has officially quit his judging role on the U.K. version of “X Factor.”

ITV has confirmed what has been speculated for months, that the 51-year-old is indeed leaving and will now work to divide his time between the American and British versions.

The network has also reported that Simon will remain “an enormous presence backstage” on the British version of the talent competition, yet it’s unknown just how much on-air time fans can expect.

On top of the UK departure, Cowell has voiced his hopes in landing Nicole Scherzinger for the US version.

Simon told, “Yeah, I want her to do it but we’ve got to get the deal done and find someone with whom she has chemistry. But I absolutely adore her. She was fantastic on the UK X Factor. I’m hopeful it will happen.”

He added: “She’s gorgeous and ruthlessly ambitious and doesn’t arrive with a massive entourage. Everyone adores her.”

Cowell’s newest “X Factor” adventure is scheduled to get underway sometime this fall on FOX.

Her career has been on the rise since her “Rookie of the Year” appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and Kate Upton is the proud owner of a viral video.

The 18-year-old blonde stunner was videoed at an LA Clippers basketball game doing the “Dougie” dance, and people can’t get enough of it.

Joined by her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit colleague Damaris Lewis, Kate really got into the dance during a break in the game.

And towards the end of the clip, Upton let loose to the tune of Cali Swag District’s hit song “Teach Me How to Dougie.”

Puppy Love is a Reality for Aubrey O’Day

Promoting her new reality show “All About Aubrey,” Aubrey O’Day made an appearance at “Good Day NY” in New York City earlier today (March 8).

The TV appearance comes after the former Danity Kane babe took her canine love to another level in the debut episode of her MTV series last night.

During the show, O’Day got the idea to preserve her Pomeranian’s prosperity by collecting and freezing his “sample” with the help of her roommate.

When talking about her love for her pups, Aubrey recently dished, “My dogs are so pampered and are the loves of my life, and they are everywhere I go and then some.”

Rihanna & Ciara: Twitter Fracas

Ciara took a shot at Rihanna during her appearance on E!’s “Fashion Police,” and the “Take a Bow” songstress took to her Twitter account to settle the score.

While chatting with host Joan Rivers, Ciara stated, “I ran into [Rihanna] recently at a party. She wasn’t the nicest. It’s crazy, because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion. It wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.”

Soon thereafter, Rihanna shot back, “My bad, Ci, did I forget to tip you,” which elicited a response from Ciara- “Trust me, Rihanna, you don’t want to see me on or off the stage.”

Ri-Ri replied, “U gangsta huh? Haaa” followed by, “Good luck with booking that stage you speak of.”

Later, Rihanna thought better of her spiteful words and wrote, “Ciara baby, I love you girl! You hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s why I retaliated this way! So sorry!”

Gearing up for a big night, Avril Lavigne was spotted arriving on the red carpet of the annual BRIT Awards in London, England on Tuesday.

The “What the Hell” songstress looked punky cute in a black dress and heels while she excitedly posed for pictures in the media area of the O2 Arena – at one point flipping the bird at photogs.

Chatting with press ahead of the UK red carpet celebration, Lavigne admitted that she was feeling a bit nervous about falling on stage.

Avril told, “I am presenting an award and I am wearing a dress and heels. I will be trying not to fall! I really would like to wear these boots with my dress.”

Looks like she opted out of wearing the boots!

Justin Bieber Talks Grammy Loss

He had a killer performance with Usher and Jaden Smith at last night’s Grammy Awards, but Justin Bieber ended up losing the Best New Artist Grammy to Esperanza Spalding.

And the “One Less Lonely Girl” singer wasn’t afraid to express his disappointment over the loss.

He told MTV, “I had no clue what was going to happen; I worked really hard these past few years and you know, I’m not going to lie — I was disappointed.” Bieber told MTV News

Keeping his chin up, Justin added, “But, you know, I’m gonna come back [next year] and we’ll take a few home.”

Of his performance, Bieber shared, “I got a standing O, which was amazing. Usher and Jayden did incredible, and I’m really excited. Tonight was an amazing night.”
