Report: Taylor Armstrong’s Husband Commits Suicide

In a devastating turn of events, Russell Armstrong, the estranged husband of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Taylor Armstrong, was found dead of an apparent suicide on Monday night (August 15).

According to reports, the L.A. City Fire Department was called to a Los Angeles home just after 8 p.m. responding to a death on scene.

While talking with People magazine, LAPD spokesman Richard French told, “I can confirm that Mr. Armstrong was found dead from an apparent hanging in a residence on Mulholland Drive.”

Taylor, who TMZ reports learned of Russel’s death last night, had just filed for divorce last month – claiming that Armstrong had physically and verbally abused her during their six-year marriage.

Rob Lowe: I Flew with the 9/11 Hijackers

Just days after the news of Osama bin Laden’s death broke, Rob Lowe has recounted his firsthand experience of flying with the terrorists responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

The 47-year-old explained the terrifying situation with Ryan Seacrest earlier today (May 5), telling, “We shot ‘The West Wing’ in D.C. four times a year, and I always took the same early morning flight out of Dulles into Los Angeles. That flight would be the same flight that 11 days later would be highjacked and flown into the Pentagon. I knew the crew that died so that was always sad and disturbing.”

Rob continued, “It was a flight just like any other flight. I remember it was really crowded… there were people everywhere so they would’ve been all around me and there was nobody that looked odd, or different, or like a terrorist — just looked like normal people. It was completely uneventful and I think that is almost scarier.”

Lowe added, “About a year and half after 9/11, I was notified that I’m on a list of people that are being deposed for the trial on Zacarias Moussaoui. So I call my attorney…he says, ‘they have the manifest and they were all on the plane. Moussaoui ended up defended himself, and pleading out so I never had to be deposed thankfully but that was a disturbing day.”

Update on Brittney Murphy

Such sad news. According to TMZ, they found a shocking number of strong prescription meds on Brittany’s nightstand. TMZ has reviewed the documents, written by Investigator Blacklock. According to his notes, Brittany Murphy “had been complaining of shortness of breath and severe abdominal pain” for 7 to 10 days prior to her death. According to the notes, Murphy went into the at around 7:30 AM Sunday and shut the door.

According to the notes, the medications included Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.

Brittany Murphy 32 RIP

According to TMZ.Com Brittany Murphy Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ. She was 32 years old. A 911 call was made at 8am A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.
We’re told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Her time of death was listed as 10:04 AM.
