Carrie Fisher: I’m 50 Pounds Lighter!

It’s not uncommon for celebrities to put on weight as their age increases, but Carrie Fisher is bucking that trend with her success on the Jenny Craig weight loss system.

The “Star Wars” actress paid a visit to the “Today” show this morning (August 24) to share her fabulous new form- she’s lost 50 pounds so far.

When Ann Curry asked Fisher, a Jenny Craig spokesperson, where the rest of her had gone, she replied, “If I knew I don’t want to know, because then I’d have to go get it.”

At her heaviest, Carrie confessed, “I couldn’t leave the house [to go shopping], because they didn’t have sizes [large enough]. I exhausted the alphabet on bra sizes.”

As for her favorite item on the Jenny Craig menu, Fisher declared, “I love the cereal because it tastes like contraband.”

Kim Kardashian & Selena Gomez Added as MTV VMA Presenters

Always able to draw attention, Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez are sure to do just that at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

The reality TV starlet and the “Wizards of Waverly Place” actress have been announced as new additions to present awards at the annual event along with a plethora of fellow celebs.

Also slated to dish out hardware are stars such as Jonah Hill, Rick Ross, Seth Rogen and Odd Future – with the show taking place on Sunday, August 28th on MTV.

Adding to the excitement, Bruno Mars has a night to look forward to – as he’s not only up for Best Male Video and Best Pop Video for “Grenade,” he’s also set to take the stage for one of his spectacular performances.

Natalie Portman’s Debut Dior Ad

She certainly has a picture perfect face, and Natalie Portman’s first Dior ad has been released.

The “Black Swan” actress is featured in a new campaign for the Dior Diorskin Forever Compact and DiorSkin Forever Fluid.

Both products will be available in the following colors: ivory, cream, light beige, linen, peach, and medium beige.

The makeup offerings will hit stores in Asia this September and possibly Australia after that. No word on the US just yet.

Emma Stone: Zombie Encore?

She won over many fans with her role in “Zombieland,” and now Emma Stone is considering returning to the world of the undead.

Accordign to a report, the “Easy A” actress has been offered the lead role in the upcoming flick “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.”

Craig Gillespie will direct the new take on the classic Jane Austen story, which sees Elizabeth Bennet’s quest for love complicated by a deadly virus that turns dead people into zombies.

On the production end of things, Natalie Portman will oversee the project along with Richard Kelly and Tedd Hamm.

Dolled up and looking gorgeous, Mandy Moore made a grand arrival to the L’Oreal National Movie Awards in London, England on Wednesday (May 11).

The 27-year-old singer/actress rocked a stunning gray gown as she posed for pictures outside of the Wembley Arena venue prior to show’s kickoff.

As for the NMA appearance, Miss Moore and her “Tangled” co-stars happen to be among the nominees – with the film vying for Best Animated Film honors.

In other news, while visiting London, Mandy revealed that she’s on the lookout for a souvenir for her husband, Ryan Adams.

Hailee Steinfeld Eyes “Romeo and Juliet” Role

Her name is most likely one we’ll hear for years to come, and Hailee Steinfeld may have landed herself a rather big role.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 14-year-old actress is in negotiations to star as Juliet in a new “Romeo and Juliet” movie.

If she signs on, it will be Hailee’s first film since her award-winning performance in “True Grit.”

The film is reportedly set to begin shooting in Italy later this spring and is said to have a budget of about $15 million.

Showing off the sexy side of the law, Leelee Sobieski was spotted on the set of “Rookies” in New York City today.

The “Eyes Wide Shut” actress dressed up as a New York City Police Officer as she filmed scenes for her new television gig.

Unfortunately, during the course of the day, one of the equipment trucks caught on fire, but thankfully LeeLee wasn’t affected.

Ms. Sobieski recently purchased one of Renee Zellweger’s Upper East Side apartments. The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath pad was listed for $8.95 million, though the selling price has not been disclosed.

Kelly Brook Announces Pregnancy!

Adding another name to the celebrity baby boom, Kelly Brook has announced that she’s expecting a baby with boyfriend Thom Evans.

The bundle of joy will be the first for the British actress/glamour girl and her retired rugby playing beau – with the child due later this year.

Miss Brook broke the news via Twitter as she wrote Wednesday, “Thom and I are happy to announce we are expecting a baby girl. We are delighted.”

The baby comes after Kelly and Thom were first romantically linked in late 2010, making for quite the fast-moving romance.

Braving the frigid Big Apple temperatures, Beyoncé Knowles was on the go in New York City.

The “If I Were a Boy” songstress looked her usual stylish self in a skirt and heels paired with a leather jacket and hat as she hopped out of a black SUV and disappeared into a Manhattan hotel.

Aside from her daily doings, Beyonce recently chatted with press about her new signature scent.

The 29-year-old told press, “I created Heat Rush to bring the feeling of warmth and sensuality to every woman who wears it. It’s feminine and sexy, fresh and beautiful.”

She added, “I wanted this to be something that made you feel like you could conquer anything, and take over the world.”
