Kelly Clarkson Forms All-Female Band: “Already Famous”

Readying herself for the all-female team-up, Kelly Clarkson has formed the brand new girl group “Already Famous” with her talented pals Kate and Jill.

The “Since You’ve Been Gone” singer took to her Twitter account to dish about the uber-exciting venture, writing, “I’m off to Oklahoma to record some songs with @jillandkate! I love random writing and recording with friends!”

Having already recorded four songs, including a revamp of Kelly’s “I’m Not The Only One,” the trio has offered up a listen at their vocal prowess by covering Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” via YouTube.

As for what made the ladies team-up, they explained, “We’ve been writing & singing together 4 over 4 years so we thought why not record it. We love singing harmony,” also noting that no one person will take the reigns, “We all sing lead, alto, and soprano at different points.”

Rihanna: Glamour September 2011 Cover Girl!

Bringing her beauty to the forefront, Rihanna landed the cover of the September 2011 issue of Glamour magazine.

On newsstands on Tuesday (August 9), the Barbadian beauty donned Dolce&Gabbana ensemble while chatting with the publication about topics such as her averseness to drama and trying to be a role model for young girls.

Highlights from Rihanna’s interview with Glamour are as follows:

On pushing through tough times in life: “I think honesty is the ultimate liberation in life. People want to shy away from the truth and keep sweeping it under the rug. But after a while, you pick up the rug and there’s just way too much dirt, so you might as well just be up front about it.”

On being a role model adoring female fans: “I want to set the right example and, at the same time, live my life….I feel like pop stars can’t be rock stars anymore because they have to be role models, and it takes the fun out of it for us, because we just want to have fun with art.

On not wanting to be involved with any drama: “I hate drama. But at the same time, nothing bothers me more than when life’s perfect. And that’s the sick part. I just love a challenge, whether it’s a relationship, my career, clothing…”

On her fashionable ways: “Getting dressed, I want to pick the most bizarre pair of shorts so I can figure out how to make it look right, or work an outfit that will make people go, ‘What the hell is she wearing?’”

Kat Von D Gears Up for New Season of “LA Ink”

She’s had monumental success over the past five years, and tonight (July 28) Kat Von D will debut her new season of “LA Ink.”

The tattoo artist/author has experienced a ton of good fortune over the past nine months, including a successful gallery opening, book tour, house fire, and engagement, and it’s all fair game for her reality show.

Crazy enough, given her breakup with Jesse James, Kat joked that her man was going to dump her during a recent taping.

Ms. Von D got a tattoo of Jesse’s 3rd grade school photo, and when she showed it to her beau, she nervously joked, “I thought you were going to tell me that you were breaking up with me… I’m just kidding.”

Julia Roberts Ad Yanked for Over-Airbrushing

Not letting the public be fooled over too-perfect features, Britain’s Advertising Standards Authority pulled a photo of Julia Roberts for being overly-airbrushed.

According to the Guardian, it was Parliament Member Jo Swinson who first took action against the manipulated ad for Lancome, along with another one that features Christy Turlington, saying that they could impact a person’s body image.

She told press, “We should have some honesty in advertising and that’s exactly what the ASA is there to do. I’m delighted they’ve upheld these complaints.”

“There’s a big picture here which is half of young women between 16 and 21 say they would consider cosmetic surgery and we’ve seen eating disorders more than double in the last 15 years,” Swinson explained. “There’s a problem out there with body image and confidence. The way excessive retouching has become pervasive in our society is contributing to that problem.”

Jo continued, “Excessive airbrushing and digital manipulation techniques have become the norm, but both Christy Turlington and Julia Roberts are naturally beautiful women who don’t need retouching to look great. This ban sends a powerful message to advertisers — let’s get back to reality.”

Enjoying some time in New York City, Rachel Weisz was spotted at NBC Studios in Rockefeller Center this morning.

The “Runaway Jury” babe paid a visit to the “Today” show to plug her upcoming movie “The Whistleblower,” a film she sounds very passionate about.

Rachel began, “It’s a thriller- it’s one of my favorite kinds of genres- much in the vein of ‘Erin Brockovich,’ because it’s based on a true story about a woman, an ordinary woman, who did an extraordinary thing and I love stories like that.”

Of her character, a midwestern policewoman, Weisz explained, “She went over to Bosnia to earn some money, she was hired by a private contracting company- she was working for the UN. She went out there in all innocence to help the people there. And she started to uncover this huge scandal. And as the plot unravels, she goes deeper and deeper into the layers of deceit and corruption, and it basically involves a sex trafficking scandal. So it’s pretty intense stuff.”

She’s always up to something, and yesterday (July 19), Hilary Duff was spotted arriving at the “Funny or Die” studios in Hollywood, CA.

With her hair in a high-ponytail and clad in a black ensemble, the “Beauty & the Briefcase” babe quickly made her way inside to prepare for the comedic gig.

Over the weekend, Duff joined in on the bizarre new craze called “Owling” where you perch yourself on anything with your knees close to your chest and your arms straight down.

Along with a picture of her “Owl” pose, Duff tweeted, “Didn’t wanna hit carmageddon so I’m just owling all weekend!”

Britney Spears Called “Disgusting, Drug User” By Ex-Staffer

Claiming to have endured disgusting working conditions, a former employee of Britney Spears has alleged that the singer did drugs, didn’t shower for days and sexually harassed him, among other things while acting as his boss.

The pop icon’s former bodyguard, Fernando Flores, who worked for the 29-year-old from February to July of 2010, is currently embroiled in a $10 million lawsuit against Britney’s conservators, citing “repeated, unwanted sexual advances and harassment,” according to RadarOnline and Star magazine.

The court docs also claim that Spears enjoyed a strong cocktail of illegal prescription and non-prescription drugs, “Based on his former experience as a police officer, Plaintiff (Flores) is informed and believes and alleged thereon that Defendant Spears was often under the influence of illegal prescription and non-prescription drugs, such as Ritalin, Narcon (Naloxone) and methamphetamines,” the report reads.

Furthering his complaints, Flores says the chart topper exhibited some rather lewd behavior, as the filing states, “She broke wind or picked her nose unselfconsciously and unapologetically before Plaintiff (Flores) and others and she was constantly and gratuitously loud and profane in her speech,” adding, “She did not bathe for days on end, did not use deodorant, did not brush her teeth, did not fix her hair, did not wear shoes or socks.”

Miss Spears’ legal team has fired back against the allegations – as they have filed a motion to strike the accusations and calling the claims completely false.

Catching a flight to the Sunshine State, Kristin Cavallari was spotted arriving at the Miami, FL airport on Wednesday night.

The former “Hills” star looked cute in white skinny jeans, flats and a tank top as she and male pal made their way through the terminal.

Sounding as if there was a bit of confusion pre-flight, Miss Cavallari tweeted with a friend with their back and forth conversation reading, “Are we on the wrong plane? Haha RT @JackKetsoyan: Hmmm @KristinCav i had no idea u were taking me to Europe”

The trip to Florida comes as today marks the official start to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Miami.

Kristin will be strutting her stuff down the runway, showing off some new swimwear by Diesel. After the show, the blonde beauty will be stopping by SKYY Vodka’s Official Kick-Off Party at the Raleigh Hotel.

Joined by her mother Tish and a gal pal, the “Party in the USA” singer chowed down on a delicious hot dog while mingling with some of the other customers.

It may sound a bit odd, but she’s no stranger to winning awards and Miley is up for being inducted into to the Bowling Hall of Fame at Pinz Bowling.

She’s having a blast across the pond, and earlier today (July 13) Christie Brinkley was spotted at a photo call for her new gig “Chicago.”

The 57-year-old supermodel looked pumped as she hammed it up for the cameras in character as Roxie Hart at the Cambridge Theatre.

And though her divorce from cheating hubby Peter Cook is two years behind her, Christie says she’s still vehemently opposed to ever getting hitched again.

“I can now say unequivocally I would never get married again. There’s absolutely no reason to. I learned in my divorce that marriage is ridiculous. You take a vow but you don’t get brownie points when you honor your vow and the other person doesn’t. The court doesn’t recognize that. It’s like, ‘All right now, let’s see how we’re going to divvy up the kids.’ Well, obviously, the one that didn’t break the vows should be the role model, but no.”
