Miranda Cosgrove is ready to drive

People.com tells us that She’s a little behind schedule, but Miranda Cosgrove is ready for a set of hot wheels. There’s just one problem.

“I need my license!” the iCarly star, 17, told PEOPLE at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards. “My parents have been trying to get me to get my license. I have no idea why I don’t have it.”

The delay, at least, has given the actress time to reflect on what car she wants. A year ago, on her 16th birthday, she told PEOPLE she wanted a Volkswagen Bug. Now, she’s changed her mind.

“My dream car would be a Range Rover Sport – white with black tinted windows,” she said. “But I will not end up with that. It’s probably going to end up a [Toyota] Prius.”

Though she might not have flipped through a driver’s-ed manual just yet, she has had her nose in the books – in particular, prepping for the SAT two months from now. “I’m nervous,” she says. “I’ve been going through it. I feel like I’m getting kind of ready. I’m almost ready.”

But fans, rest assured. College – probably at either USC or NYU – will not send Cosgrove into hibernation. “I’m still going to do acting,” she said. “Acting is my passion.”

Mark-Paul Gosselaar has separated from his wife

 

People.com tells us that Its another Hollywood marriage down the tubes. Mark -Paul Gosselaar and his wife of 14 years Lisa ann Russell have separated.   ”They both remain focused on their family and are jointly committed to their children,” his rep told  PEOPLE.com

Gosselaar, 36, and Russell, 38, met on the set of Saved by the Bell when she had a small role. They got married in 1996, and have children Michael Charles, 6, and Ava Lorenn, 4.

No reason for the split was given. But a source close to the couple refuted Internet reports that Russell’s behavior was to blame.

“The reports saying that she’s out partying aren’t true,” says the source. “She’s a great mom. The two of them couldn’t be more hands on with the kids. Their number one focus is definitely their family.”   I think If they care so much about their family and they love each other they should get some benchmark wedding bands and remember how and why they fell in love with each other and keep their family together. Its such a sad thing to see couples that have  been together more than 10 years break up.

Kim Kardashian & Reggie Bush Taking Step Back in Their Relationship

People.Com tells us that another week, another split rumor for Kim Kardashian and her NFL beau Reggie Bush.

The couple, who started dating in 2007 and broke up briefly in 2009, haven’t ended things – but they are taking a step back in their relationship.

“They are trying to decide what to do right now,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Reggie has issues with her busy life and schedule and she can’t give it all up.”

But this couple isn’t calling it quits yet.

On Monday, Bush flew to Miami and spent the day with Kardashian. Says the source: “It was super cool between them.”

After reconciling in Sept. 2009, Kardashian told PEOPLE that her time apart from Bush would ultimately help them grow stronger as a couple. “I think sometimes people need to take a break just to take time off to see how much they need each other and how much they really are compatible,” she said at the time. “We just made the decision that we want to make it work, and the time off was really beneficial for the both of us.”

Kardashian subsequently bought a house for herself in Beverly Hills, and the couple considered moving in together.

“She’s totally happy and fine with everything,” the source says. “Kim and Reggie are best friends; they really are. It’s just more that he can’t deal with her life and all the fame she’s gotten. She and Reggie started dating before she even had her show. They are working on seeing what they both want.”

Reps for both Bush and Kardashian did not return calls for comment.

Tim McGraw Speaks Out About Sandra Bullock

People.Com tells us that Tim McGraw, who plays Sandra Bullock’s husband in The Blind Side, is speaking out about his costar, who is dealing with allegations of infidelity by her husband Jesse James.

“I haven’t [reached out to Bullock]. You know, she’s got a lot on her plate,” McGraw, 42, tells Entertainment Tonight Canada in an interview airing Friday. “I just wish her nothing but the best.”

McGraw, who spoke to ET Canada Thursday in Vancouver before his concert, added that Bullock, 45, can weather this marital storm. “She’s tough,” he says. “I’m not that tough.”

On the professional front, McGraw praises Bullock as a great teacher and coworker. “She’s such a professional. She’s so great. I’ve learned a lot from her,” he says. “We certainly got friendly. She’s a very friendly person. A really nice person.”

As for Bullock’s Best Actress Oscar win for The Blind Side, he says, “It’s such an elusive trophy, but her performance was so good that it was just so hard to overlook that.”

T.I. — Rapper with a Curfew

TMZ.Com tells us that T.I. will finally get to roam free today for the first time since he was locked up for weapons charges last year … but he’s still gonna have the curfew of a 16-year-old schoolboy.

T.I.’s attorney, Steve Sadow, tells TMZ the rapper — who’s been serving the last 30 days of his sentence under house arrest — will officially be done today.

T.I. will now be placed under 23 days of supervised release … which means he’ll have to be home by 11 PM unless he’s performing, which he’ll have to be in by 1 AM.

The rapper — real name Clifford Harris — will also have to complete 400 hours of community service and will be on probation for three years.

Kelly Preston Returned to Work for Miley Cyrus

People.Com tells us that just six months after losing her 16-year-old son Jett last January, Kelly Preston quietly decided to return to work by starring in The Last Song.

She made the decision “because Miley [Cyrus] asked me herself to play her mom,” Preston, 47, tells PEOPLE. “I was really moved. It was the perfect movie to sort of get my feet wet.”

As they filmed the Nicholas Sparks drama in Tybee Island, Ga., last summer, “Julie Anne [Robinson, the director], Adam [Shankman, the producer] and Miley took such great care of me,” says Preston, who brought her daughter Ella Bleu, 9, along for the trip. “They were wonderful with my schedule. I just worked a little bit.”

But she spent a lot of time bonding with Cyrus off screen. “We’ve been friends for awhile,” Cyrus told PEOPLE in January. “We got even closer on this movie so it was cool to spend the summer with people you really like.

Corey Haim’s Funeral — All Taken Care Of

TMZ.Com tells us that Corey Haim‘s funeral costs will be covered by the memorabilia company that was auctioning off some of his belongings, this according to the company and sources close to Haim.

Haim’s mother had been reaching out for donations, but a company called Startifacts volunteered to donate the proceeds from their Haim-related auctions.

Michael Kronick, owner of Startifacts, says rather than wait til all the sales were complete, they’ll come to the funeral next week with a check for $20,000 — to cover the costs of the headstone, transporting the body to Toronto, and whatever else is needed.

‘Price Is Right’ Suit – They Called Me ‘Wide Load’

TMZ.Com has told us that a former “Price Is Right” model claims the show was so cruel about staffers becoming pregnant, she suffered a miscarriage from stress and abuse.
Brandi Cochran claims she became pregnant in 2007 but didn’t tell anyone because she was afraid of getting fired. Brandi claims the stress was so severe, “that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.”

Brandi claims when she told a producer about the miscarriage, the producer told her, “It’s natures way of getting rid of a bad baby.”

In late 2008, Cochran became pregnant again. She claims, in the lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, a producer put his hands on his head when he learned she was having twins.

In the docs, Brandi claims when she walked past a producer he said, “Wide load coming through.”

Brandi says she had complications from the pregnancy and went on disability. She claims she was eventually squeezed out of her job on February 23.

Brandi was a prize model during Bob Barker’s reign as well as Drew Carey‘s.

CBS had no comment on the lawsuit.

Conan O’Brien Swag — Yanked from NBC Website

TMZ.Com has told us that Conan O’Brien‘s face on a mug is no longer available for purchase … at least from his former network — because all memorabilia relating to the former “Tonight Show” host has been banished from NBC.com.

But here’s the funny part — it appears NBC was all too anxious to get rid of their CoCo stash … because the Jay Leno swag they used to replace it still says “The Jay Leno Show” … which was canceled nearly three weeks ago.

Jay Leno returned as the host of “The Tonight Show” on Monday night.

Brittany Murphy Leaves Assets to Mom

TMZ.Com has told us that Brittany Murphy left her entire estate to her mother, Sharon, TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us, years before Brittany was married she wrote a holographic (handwritten) will, leaving everything to her mom. The will was stored in her manager’s safe.

Brittany’s husband, Simon Monjack, told TMZ after they got married Brittany had a formal will drafted, along with a trust. Simon tells us all of her assets under the new will and trust go to Sharon.

Simon tells us, at his request, the will specifically says, “I am married to Simon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will.”
