Miranda Cosgrove Breaks Ankle in Crash, Postpones Tour

Getting the day off to quite the disappointing start, Miranda Cosgrove suffered a broken ankle after her tour bus crashed into a tractor-trailer on an Illinois roadway this morning (August 11).

The 18-year-old “iCarly” cutie’s rep offered up a statement, explaining, “Miranda Cosgrove’s tour bus was involved in an accident early this morning in Illinois on I-70, just outside of Vandalia.”

He continued, “There were five passengers on the bus, and Miranda suffered a broken ankle. At the time, we are told everyone will be fine.”

Unsure of when Miss Cosgrove can get back on the concert trail, her rep noted, “Her tour is postponed until further notice,” adding, “Miranda thanks everyone for their understanding and support.”
