Heidi Montag has filed for divorce

Wow I never saw this coming. People.com tells us that Skeptics, take notice: This breakup is for real.

Almost two months after Heidi Montag went to court seeking legal separation from husband Spencer Pratt, the reality starlet filed for divorce.

Montag, 23, cites the usual irreconcilable differences in the divorce petition filed in Santa Monica, Calif., Superior Court.

“Heidi has amended her petition for separation and today has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt,” Montag’s lawyer Jodeane Farrell tells PEOPLE. “The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner in an out of court settlement. Both parties are amicable with each other and over the possibility of finalizing their divorce.”

The public and Montag’s own former costars from The Hills initially expressed doubts about whether the split was legitimate or another publicity stunt.

They were married last April at a church in Pasadena, Calif., and have been busy ever since.

Montag underwent 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day this year. She followed that by firing Pratt as her manager and beginning her quest to become a big screen actress, filming a role in Adam Sandler’s Just Go With It, and also working on her music career.

Just recently, Pratt, 26, admitted to choosing fame over his wife telling PEOPLE, “We love each other but I’m a fame whore and I’ll never grow out of it. [Heidi] knows that and doesn’t want that.”

I was wondering when Samantha Ronson was going to visit Linsday again. People.com tells us that Jail hasn’t exactly been easy for her, but Lindsay Lohan is getting through it by focusing her attention elsewhere.

“She’s looking forward to her release,” attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said Thursday after visiting the actress, 24, at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., for about an hour. “It’s a light at the end of the tunnel.”

Lohan is “fine, she’s good,” adds Chapman Holley, though she says she’s “not exactly sure” when the star’s jail term will be over.

Lohan started serving her 90-day sentence on July 20 for violating probation in a DUI case. The Sheriff’s Department has said she could be released as early as Sunday. She will then be headed to an inpatient rehab center.

Also paying the actress a visit the same day as her attorney: ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson, mom Dina and sister Ali.

Asked if the family would be spending time with Lohan before she goes to rehab, Dina told PEOPLE, “We hope so.”

“I was not invited to the wedding,” President Barack Obama said on ABC’s The View, airing Thursday, “because I think Hillary and Bill, properly, want to keep this thing for Chelsea and her soon-to-be husband.”

And that’ll work out well for everybody at Saturday’s ceremony, he joked, MSNBC reports.

“You don’t want two presidents at one wedding!” Obama said. “All the secret service, guests going through (metal detectors), all the gifts being torn apart.”

Lindsay Lohan wants to spend time with family before rehab

I am not so sure if thats a good Idea. People.com tells us that With less than a week left in jail, Lindsay Lohan is now thinking – and worrying – about what comes next: her mandatory three months in rehab.

“She’s a little upset right now,” her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said after visiting the actress Tuesday. “She’d like to spend some time with her family, and there’s at least some question as to whether or not she’ll have to go directly to rehab.”

Prosecutors confirmed Tuesday that Lohan must report to an L.A.-based residential rehab facility 24 hours after her release from jail, which likely will be Sunday or Monday, but her attorney is concerned “there’s a push now for her to go directly to rehab from jail.”

“I think it would only be fair for her to spend some time with her family and that’s what she’d like for me to emphasize to judge,” says Holley.

Lohan, 24, has been jailed at the women’s facility in Lynnwood, Calif., since July 20 for a 90-day sentence for violating probation in a DUI case. Her term is being reduced due to overcrowding.

I agree with snooki  on this one. People.com tell us that Even though Miami is the the land of the barely-there bikini, Jersey Shore‘s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi opted for one-piece bathing suits while filming season 2 of MTV’s hit reality show. But not because she’s unhappy with her body.

“I would rather wear a sexy one-piece whether I am heavy or down to 90 pounds,” Snooki, 22, tells PEOPLE. “I wore one-piece suits when I was really skinny to hide my nakedness in a sexy way. I think they are more provocative because it makes guys want to see more of me.”

Snooki admits she gained weight in Miami, where she indulged in junk food and plenty of tequila during late night parties at South Beach clubs like Ocean’s 10 and Tantra. “I do like to feel healthy,” she says. “After eating fast food and drinking booze every day in Miami, I know I need to lose weight. I want to feel better. I plan to go back to eating salads and chicken with no drinking.”

Snooki also plans on working out, but in a fun and familiar way. “I was more fit when I was cheerleading in high school,” she says. “I will hit the gym and do cheerleading stunts for some good exercise in coming days.”

But her desire to lose weight has nothing to do with the exotic, bikini-clad beauties who flock to Miami’s beaches. “My self image was fine when I came down to Miami in April and it’s fine now,” she says. “We all have flaws. We work within them to look our best.”

Besides, hitting the beach, she believes, shouldn’t be about comparing yourself to others. “My roommates and I just go to hang out and have fun,” says Snooki, who spray tans herself with a portable machine for a richer tone before and after sunbathing. “We don’t sit around wondering how hot we look. We want to see how hot the guys are.”

Orlando Bloom has married Miranda Kerr

The model, 27, and the British actor, 33, are now on their honeymoon, Kerr says in a statement that also explains the cancelation of her appearance at the Australian department store David Jones.

“David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together,” Kerr’s statement says. “I’m very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life.”

The couple reportedly began dating in late 2007. “We were friends for a while and then it just developed into a little more,” she told Hello! magazine in September 2008, adding that Bloom asked her agent for her number – because she wouldn’t give it to him.

“At the time I was seeing someone else,” she explained.

Bloom and Kerr made their first public appearance in April 2008 at Sydney’s Doncaster Day at the Randwick Racecourse. That same weekend, the Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean actor also met her parents.

Simon Monjack died of the same causes that took his wife

What are the odds of both husband and wife dying from the same thing? People.com tell us that Simon Monjack died from acute pneumonia and severe anemia – the same two causes of wife Brittany Murphy’s death – the Los Angeles County Coroner has found.

The British screenwriter, 40, was found dead May 23 at the couple’s Hollywood home, five months after Murphy, 32, died.

The coroner’s office said pneumonia was the primary cause of Murphy’s death but anemia and multiple drug intoxication were contributing factors.

Asked for the cause of death for Monjack, Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter told CNN, “Just like Brittany.” Winter added that some prescription drugs were found in his system but not in lethal levels.

At Monjack’s family’s request, another test will be conducted before the full autopsy report will be released, says Winter.

Christina Applegate is going to be a mommy

After all that Christina Applegate has gone through she deserves a happiness. People.com tell us that Christina Applegate could soon be married with a child.

The actress and her fiancé Martyn Lenoble are expecting, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively.

Applegate, 38, and Lenoble, 41, dated for two years before becoming engaged on Valentine’s Day. No date has been set for the wedding.

The Samantha Who? actress says her fiancé, a Dutch bass player, helped her recover after undergoing a double mastectomy.

“I’m very grateful to Martyn for coming along at a time that he did because he’s been my rock through all of this,” Applegate told PEOPLE last year. “He gave me something to really want to live for and something to smile about.”

Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez spend time together although they tried to hide it

Will they come out and say they are a couple? People.com tell us that It wasn’t anything like their recent rockin’ date night on Broadway, but on Sunday night, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez squeezed in some more time together – or at least tried.

Arriving separately at his teammate CC Sabathia’s 30th birthday bash at New York’s 40/40 Club, the couple strategically steered clear of one other and any prying eyes. In fact, Diaz, 37, slipped in and out through the side door while the Yankees slugger, 34, used the front entrance.

“It was obvious that they were deliberately avoiding each other,” a source told PEOPLE. “The two of them seemed hyper-aware that everybody was staring at them, waiting for them to interact.”

Without any private rooms at the venue, the couple resorted to keeping a distance but “were within each other’s eyesight the entire night,” adds the source.

And even without some alone time with her beau, Diaz seemed to be having fun. Later, when club owner Jay-Z joined the festivities with wife Beyoncé, the actress chatted with the singer and the Yankee wives, in addition to hitting the dance floor.

“She danced all night long,” says the source. “She wasn’t hiding.”
