Zoe Saldana is engaged

Guess who has gotten engaged ? People.com tells us that Zoe Saldana’s year just got even better.

After walking the red carpet at the Oscars, where her film Avatar was nominated for Best Picture, the actress will now be walking down the aisle. Saldana, 32, and longtime boyfriend Keith Britton are engaged, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE.

No other details about the engagement were available.

The Star Trek star has quietly been dating Britton, CEO of online Web site My Fashion Data Base, but brought him as her date to an Oscar afterparty in March.
I am sure Zoe will have lots of fun planning her wedding and picking out wedding favors for her wedding. Every girl dreams of her wedding day and I am sure Zoe is not the exception.

I am sure Zoe will have a nice elegant wedding, she strikes me as the type who would only wear the best. I always think of Zoe as the type who can make personalized jewelry seem classic and delicate. Zoe can make any type of clothes seem fashionable no matter what.

I bet Mel wishes he would have stayed with his ex wife

I bet you Mel is kicking himself in the butt for leaving his wife now that he has all this drama going on. TMZ tells us that Oksana Grigorieva‘s lawyers are lashing out at Mel Gibson‘s lawyer for claiming Mel has been more than generous in supporting her and their baby. If Mel  had just given  her personalized jewelry instead of a baby he wouldnt be having this problem.

 
Now Oksana’s lawyer, Marci Levine, told  TMZ, “The statement released to TMZ on behalf of Mel Gibson is based upon complete distortions of the truth regarding Mr. Gibson’s financial contributions toward the parties’ child and conveniently ignores his obligations to the parties’ child under California law.”

Mel’s lawyer, Stephen Kolodny had stated that Mel has opened up his wallet for Oksana, putting her up in a multi-million dollar house, buying her a car, providing health insurance and giving her “tens of thousands of dollars to support her and Lucia over the past months.”

Levine would not specifically say how Mel has fallen short, but sources connected with Oksana claim the actor has not paid child support since the couple split.

Levine says, “Mr. Gibson persists in attempting to ‘litigate’ this matter in the media, and continues to launch false accusations against the mother of his child.”

And Levine says, “Unlike Mr. Gibson, Ms. Grigorieva has not, and will not engage in this type of undignified banter in the press.” I am sure that Oksana was enjoying all the commercial lighting and the press that she was getting for being  with Mel and she is still enjoying it now. She just wants to look like she has more class .

Is Landon Donavan the daddy is what I want to know

Oh no he didnt or at least I hope he didnt because  Landon Donovan  is supposed to be my baby daddy! People.com tells us that His team crashed out of the World Cup this weekend, and now Landon Donovan faces a personal crisis: a forthcoming report from a U.K. newspaper in which a British woman claims she is pregnant with Donovan’s child.

Donovan, 28, is separated from his wife, actress Bianca Kajlich, but they are not divorced – a fact the U.S. soccer star emphasized last week, after he and Kajlich shared an emotional phone call following his winning goal against Algeria.

Regarding the pregnancy report, Donovan did not deny it might be true, telling Sports Illustrated‘s Web site: “I was informed of the possibility during the World Cup, and if I need to take responsibility, then I will provide the appropriate support. This is a private matter, and I will refrain from further comment at this time.” I guess we will have to wait until the baby shower invitations show up and see if his name is on them.

Donovan has spent most of his pro career in the U.S., but played on loan for Liverpool club Everton for several months this past winter. He quickly became a fan favorite, and chants of “USA! USA!” were often heard in the stands.

He was also a hero for the USA at this month’s World Cup, scoring three goals and guiding the team to the knockout phase, where they were eliminated on Saturday by Ghana.

Donovan’s contact with Kajlich, 33, during the World Cup – he also blew her a kiss during a post-game interview – fueled speculation that they might reconcile. “It would surprise no one if Landon and Bianca were back together very soon,” said one of Kajlich’s friends. “They have remained in contact and are very close to one another.” Donovan better hope he doesnt have to look at men’s lab coats while his DNA is being taken if he wants to have a chance with Kajlich. Good luck and fro his sake he better not be the daddy he has to wait for me.

Michael Jackson’s kids MIA at the mausoleum

There is always some drama going on but do you have to air it out on twitter? Tmz.com tells us that Randy Jackson just fired off a Twitter message about Michael Jackson‘s kids — and it sounds like he’s blaming someone for their absence from the mausoleum … on the anniversary of Michael’s death. Here’s what Randy tweeted shortly after paying his respects at Forest Lawn Cemetery:
“Sorry Big Bro, for not getting ur children there on the anniversary of ur last day. I tried.”

Prince, Paris, and Blanket were seen in Hawaii yesterday, but haven’t been seen yet today — while Grandma Katherine is in Gary, IN. I am sorry but this family has all kinds of issues. You would think they could get it together on the anniversary of Michael’s death.

Tony Hawk suing for royalties

Tony Hawk got caught up … In a scam that is TMZ.com tells us that Tony Hawk is suing over one of the coolest products he ever put his name on — a digital helmet cam — claiming the people behind the device are total frauds.

Hawk — the greatest skateboarder of all time — filed a lawsuit today in L.A. County Superior Court claiming Prime Entertainment owes him more than $100k in royalties for “The Tony Hawk Branded Digital Helmet Camcorder.”

In the suit, Hawk alleges when he signed the deal in 2005, Prime Entertainment “had no intention” of actually paying the guy what they promised. Instead, Hawk states he only received $35k of the $150k he was owed.

Now, Tony is suing for the remained $115k — plus punitive damages — citing breach of contract and fraud.

Jeremy Lodon needs help badly

Its so sad to see Jeremy London like this people.com tells us that Jeremy London’s family can no longer remain silent.

They’ve watched with increasing concern and frustration as the bizarre police case in Palm Springs, Calif., has unfolded – with claims the Party of Five star was allegedly kidnapped and forced to take drugs.

They think there may be another explanation.

“We love Jeremy, we only have his best interests at heart,” his twin brother Jason London, 37, also an actor, tells PEOPLE. “We feel he needs serious psychological help and drug treatment as soon as possible.”

After reaching stardom on the hit show, Jeremy has endured a series of struggles that he has not denied. He recently told PEOPLE about his fight to stay sober, his bitter custody battle with his ex-wife Melissa over son, Lyric, 3, and his widespread financial troubles.

Now his family fears he’s hit another low point.

“Jeremy’s behavior right now is indicative of whenever he’s back on drugs,” brother Jason says. “The fact that he’s lashing out against his own family and has shut us out is just one more sign of how sick he really is.”

Jeremy insists his story is true – and police so far believe him, arresting a 26-year-old man on kidnapping and other charges. In a video statement to RadarOnline, Jeremy vented his anger at his mother and brother for openly questioning the validity of his abduction and for spreading “outrageous lies” about him, and has legally threatened his family not to speak to the press.

His family reacts with sadness and frustration.

“It’s absolutely false that we’re telling lies about Jeremy,” Jason says. “We would never do anything to hurt him. But Jeremy and Melissa’s story of the kidnapping just doesn’t add up. None of it makes any sense. Mainly, why didn’t Melissa call the police if Jeremy went missing with these strange men until 2 a.m.?”

His brother adds: “For years we’ve been worried sick about getting a phone call telling us that Jeremy’s been found dead. For months, Jeremy has cut off his whole family and he refuses to talk to us. We’re desperate for anyone to get him help and that’s why we’re speaking out.”  While I know how easy it is to buy HCG online I dont think its that easy to find kidnappers that are gonna kidnap you and make you do drugs and then drop off your wife but keep you. I hope Jeremy gets the help he desperately needs

Alexa Ray’s heart is on the mend

Word around Hollywood is that Alexa Ray has a new boyfriend. People.com tells us that Looks like Alexa Ray Joel’s broken heart is on the mend: The singer, 24, who told PEOPLE that her despair over a failed romance led her to be hospitalized last December, has a new boyfriend. He is singer-songwriter Cass Dillon. Even though I dont expect Alexa to be shopping for mens wedding bands anytime soon I am glad she has found a new love.

The pair met when Dillon, 24, was hired to play guitar on Joel’s upcoming album. (To listen to her first single, “Notice Me,” click here.) “Dating can be awkward,” Joel said in April. “I prefer to meet someone through work or socially.”

Odds are her dad, Billy Joel, approves. Back in 2007, Dillon released the single “Christmas in Fallujah,” which was written by the Piano Man himself. Proceeds benefitted the non-profit Homes For Our Troops.

But Alexa may not be the only member of the family getting some summer loving.

On Saturday, Billy, 61 (who split last June with wife Katie Lee, 28), was spotted having a late lunch with an unidentified blonde at Sant Ambroeus in Southampton, N.Y. The two carried motorcycle helmets (hers was pink), chatted with the owner and picked up local magazines before leaving.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are engaged

People.com and Entertainment tonight tells us that It’s (finally!) official – Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are engaged, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The couple, who have been dating for almost three years, have dodged multiple engagement rumors throughout their relationship.

In November 2008, the model, 27, and British actor, 33, shot down a report in the Australian media that they were getting married. Six months later, the two kept fans guessing when Kerr was spotted with a sparkler on her left ring finger, though reps at the time had no comment.

When the two recently spent Thanksgiving together in Morocco, Bloom told reporters he and Kerr were “just enjoying our time together now” when asked if they were getting married anytime soon.

“He’s a sweetheart and that’s all I’m gonna say,” Kerr, who has talked about settling down and starting a family in the future, told PEOPLE in February 2008.

“My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch,” she told Page Six Magazine in 2008. “When this is all over, that’s where I’ll be. I’ve always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen.”

Michael Jackson’s dad blames AEG for Michael’s death

AEG put such pressure on Michael Jackson to perform for his London concerts, they effectively forced Dr. Conrad Murray to heavily sedate the singer so he could get rest, which ultimately led to his death … this according to documents filed with the California Medical Board and obtained by CNN.According to the 169-page complaint, filed by attorney Brian Oxman on behalf of Joe Jackson, Michael had only sporadically attended rehearsals for the show, leading to a showdown with Michael Jackson on June 18 in which an AEG exec allegedly threatened to “pull the plug” on Jackson’s rented home and fire Dr. Murray.

The complaint alleges Murray — who was allegedly promised $150,000 a month by AEG –  immediately began fueling Jackson with heavy sedatives, including Valium, Ativan, Versed and Propofol so the singer could sleep. 

As we first reported, Murray gave Jackson Propofol virtually every night for six weeks — until Michael died.

The complaint alleges AEG knew the dangers of Murray’s treatment but ordered full steam ahead.  And, according to the complaint, AEG turned a blind eye to Murray’s request for life saving equipment. 

The complaint claims AEG was effectively practicing medicine without a license, by forcing Murray to take radical medical steps to protect the show.

The complaint claims, “Had AEG not violated California law and fulfilled its promise to provide Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation equipment and a nurse in those women’s lab coats , Michael Jackson would not have died on June 25th.”

Lindsay Lohan didnt have alcohol in her system

I guess we were wrong !! People.com tells us that  Lindsay Lohan didn’t have alcohol in her system when her SCRAM bracelet went off earlier this month at an MTV Awards afterparty, according to her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley.

A urine test taken shortly after the alert showed a negative result for alcohol, said Holley.

An L.A. district attorney spokeswoman wasn’t aware of the negative test result. The DA’s office office previously said the alert was “an alcohol-related violation.” It remains unclear what triggered the device. Holley also denied that Lohan tampered with the bracelet.

Lohan, 23, remains free on $200,000 bail – a new amount which the judge set in her case on June 8 after the SCRAM alert. Lohan remains subject to weekly random drug testing and must abstain from alcohol.

The actress still faces a probation violation hearing on July 6. She could get up to six months in jail if a judge determines that she hasn’t fully complied with her probation terms.
